  1. Full Substrate Coverage and Customizable Performance
     
    Covestro TPU covers four major substrate systems: polyester-based, polyether-based, polycaprolactone-based, and polycarbonate-based, with a hardness range from ultra-soft Shore A60 to ultra-hard Shore D92. Special properties such as weather resistance, flame retardancy, food contact compliance, and medical grade can be customized according to customer needs, adapting to full-scenario application requirements.
     
  2. Extremely Balanced Mechanical Properties
     
    It features extremely high tensile strength, tear resistance, abrasion resistance and resilience, maintaining stable mechanical performance over a wide temperature range. Soft grades have excellent rebound and shock absorption performance, while hard grades combine high rigidity and impact resistance, solving the core pain point of traditional engineering plastics that "high rigidity equals high brittleness".
     
  3. Differentiated Environmental Tolerance
     
    • Polyester-based TPU: Excellent abrasion resistance, oil resistance, chemical solvent resistance, and high mechanical strength, suitable for general industry, shoe materials, and wear-resistant parts.
    • Polyether-based TPU: Excellent hydrolysis resistance, low temperature resistance (down to below -40ºC), and microbial resistance, suitable for outdoor applications, hydraulic hoses, low temperature environments, and water supply and drainage scenarios.
    • Polycarbonate-based/Polycaprolactone-based TPU: Excellent weather resistance, damp heat aging resistance, and yellowing resistance, with extremely low performance degradation after long-term outdoor use, suitable for automotive exterior parts, outdoor films, and high-end weather-resistant accessories.

    Compatible with multiple processing technologies including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendering, and 3D printing, with a wide processing window. It has excellent overmolding adhesion with engineering plastics such as PC, ABS and PA, and can realize two-color injection molding and composite extrusion, adapting to the large-scale production of complex structural parts.

  8. APPLICATION

    TPU Material for Bluetooth Headset and USB Cable
    This series is perfect for applications of extruder grade cable sheathing.
     Polyester-based TPU: Good oil and chemical resistance, wear resistance, and with the addition of special anti-hydrolysis agents, it has certain hydrolysis resistance and stability. Highly transparent and resistant to yellowing, easy to process.  It is widely used in elastic lines, data cables, headphone cables, and consumer electronics cables.
    TPU Material for Cable of Charging Pile
    This series is suitable for extruded cable sheath applications, widely used in industries such as robot arm cables, submarine cables, charging pile cables, drag chain cables, and geophysical exploration cables.
    Polyether-based TPU:Good water resistance, low temperature flexibility, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, and low water-soluble swelling.  Polyether-based TPU can be flame-retardant modified according to different customer needs, and halogen-free flame-retardant V0, VW-1, VW-2 can be customized. TPU performance components can also be customized, such as resistance to deformation, scratch, wear, gloss, and matte.

    Shoe Applications:
